The competition to be established as the world’s top international sports destination just became tougher as Phuket International Academy Sports and Leisure Club (PIASLC) has chosen former Muay Thai champion “Thanootong’’ Prasert Intanoo to lead the martial arts program at the notable Phuket, Thailand sports centre. He graduated from Taksin University in Songkhla Province with a degree in physical education. He went on to work for the Marriott hospitality group as a Muay Thai teacher, and in his position as Recreation Supervisor directed wellness, corporate teambuilding and kid’s zone activities. Khun “Nok” (his Thai nickname) is also a qualified Pilates teacher and personal trainer and certified by the Thai Yoga Institute as an instructor.
